Great Britain. Coastlines. Issued 19 March 2002. The ten designs were printed together in sheets comprising two panes of 50 stamps separated by a gutter. Post offices were supplied with panes of 50 or sheets of 100. One pane was discovered with silver missing (affecting the inscriptions and Queen’s head). It’s almost certain the other half of the sheet would have been affected too, but to date there have been no reports of its find. The error is easily missed as the inscriptions are subtle and grey is printed behind the silver Queen’s head meaning the absence of silver is not immediately obvious.
